Shado Beni on Caye Caulker - Caribbean Tapas Delights!
We recently had the pleasure of dining at the new Caribbean Trinidadian Tapas restaurant, Shado Beni, on Caye Caulker, and I must say it was an absolute delight for the senses!
From the moment we stepped in, the inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable dining experience.
The menu at Shado Beni is a true celebration of Caribbean flavors, offering a unique twist on traditional tapas dishes, along with crafted smoked cocktails.
For $35 BZ ($17.50 US) you can choose any two tapas dishes on the menu.
We ordered the Trini Curry Goat, the Spicy Shrimp with Peppers, the Fish Sausage on Spicy Tomato Jam, the Battered Broccoli with a Spicy Drizzle, and the Caribbean Falafel.
The variety of small plates, that are great for sharing, allows diners to explore a diverse range of tastes, creating a culinary journey that makes it difficult to pick a favorite.
Each dish bursts with the authentic taste of the Caribbean, showcasing the rich and bold flavors that make this cuisine so beloved.
The chef at Shado Beni has truly mastered the art of balancing spices, creating dishes that are flavorful without being overpowering.
Even though the restaurant has only been open for about 2 weeks, the service at Shado Beni was impeccable.
The staff is friendly and attentive. The genuine warmth and hospitality add an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall dining experience.
I’m convinced Shado Beni will quickly become a culinary gem on Caye Caulker. It’s a must-visit for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic taste of the Caribbean in a welcoming and stylish setting. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience filled with delicious flavors and warm hospitality.
Kudos to Shado Beni for bringing such a delightful addition to the culinary scene of Caye Caulker!
