Are You Ready For The Island But Don't Know Where You Can Book Your Stay?
That’s why we created the lists of Tourism Gold Standard certified Caye Caulker hotels and accommodations that are approved for reopening during Phase 3’s “safe corridor” on October 1, followed by Phase 4 currently planned for January 2021.
As Caye Caulker, Belize, prepares for reopening, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) has created a “Tourism Gold Standard” Recognition program to enhance hotels for the safety of travelers. This extensive 9-point program elevates the cleaning and workplace policies of hotels and restaurants. These hotels adapt new behaviors and procedures while ensuring minimal impact on guest experience.
As of this morning, BTB approved a total of 11 Caye Caulker hotels and accommodations for Tourism Gold Standard Certification. So far, 9 of those properties in Caye Caulker have been approved for reopening during the “safe corridor” of Phase 3.
In the country of Belize, 129 hotels are certified for Phase 4, and 105 of the certified accommodations are approved for Phase 3. BTB published a list for all Belize approved hotels in case you want to visit some of the other beautiful places in Belize.
