A lot has changed since Covid-19 hit the world. And it hit vacation destinations such as Caye Caulker especially hard.

Even though things have changed, Caye Caulker doesn’t fall short on bars and restaurants. Some places closed and new businesses opened. Therefore, we updated our Belikin Tour to include a few new spots that are worth a stop to enjoy a Belikin in Caye Caulker.

Let’s go on a Belikin beer tour!

These are the 10 best spots to enjoy a Belikin
in Caye Caulker in 2022!

The tour starts on the northern end of South Island at The Split, going south.

Nothing is far in Caye Caulker. You can easily walk our Belikin tour!

The Lazy Lizard

If you hang out at The Split, you might as well enjoy an ice cold Belikin.
The best spot is to sit under the palapa in the water at The Lazy Lizard!

Watch out for the Lazy Lizard’s Bucket Specials!

Stop No. 1

Sip N Dip

The next spot heading south is right passed The Split.

The bar is an over-water structure and you float in the water while enjoying your beer.

At times the music can be very loud here, though.

Stop No. 2

Reef Break

This is the newest spot on the list and not open on a regular basis, yet.

A small hangout located on the dock of Contour Tours not far from Sip N Dip.

Stop No. 3

Wish Willy

Wish Willy Bar & Grill is one of the most unique restaurants on the island of Caye Caulker.
It’s a perfect spot to relax, meet other people and of course enjoy a good meal and a Belikin.

stop No. 4

Iguana Reef Inn

The bar is a great relaxing Belikin stop on your way south. Iguana Reef Inn is located on the leeside by the soccer field.

Stop by for sunset and join pelican feeding time.

stop No. 5

Southside Pizza

The "one-and-only biker bar" on the island, Southside Pizza is located just off of Front Street, close to Atlantic Bank. Southside is always fun. Especially Thursdays for live music with Greg!

And if you get hungry, try one of their delicious pizzas..

stop No. 6

Barrier Reef
Sports Bar

From Southside head back to Front Street and turn right. The entrance is on your left on Front Street.
There’s always something going on at the Sports Bar! Live music, DJ, Karaoke, Trivia, etc. Or you can just sit on the beach to enjoy your Belikin. The Sports Bar is also a good spot to meet some of the expat community, in case you’re curious what it’s like to live on a “rock”..
stop No. 7

Stoney's
Caye Caulker Pizza

Former Pizza Al Taglio moved from the Split to Front Street and got a makeover.

So, if you head south when you leave the Sports Bar, you will find Stoney's on the right side after you crossed Calle al Sol.

Great hangout and delicious pizza!
stop No. 8

Coral View

The restaurant on top of the new Coral View Hotel on Aventurera Street offers an awesome sunset view.

The restaurant is rather expensive, but the view is worth a stop to enjoy a Belikin for sunset!
stop No. 9

Pelican Sunset Bar

Another fun hangout is the Pelican Sunset Bar. It can get crowded at times for sunset, so if you want a “front-row” seat, be there early. Pelican is located on the leeside, so as you step out of Coral View take a left and walk all the way back to the leeside.
stop No. 10

You made it through our 10 best spots to enjoy a Belikin in Caye Caulker!

Don’t worry. A bottle of Belikin holds less beer than you are used to at home (but might have a higher alcohol content). The glass is very thick to keep the beer cold for longer.

However, drink responsibly and split the beer tour in two if you’re not sure you can drink 10 Belikin in one day!

Learn more about Belikin and the beer story, or visit the brewery Bowen & Bowen.
